Ambasada Amerikane u kërkon anëtarëve të KQZ të shmangin situatat ku rezultati do preket me spirale ligjore “torturuese për logjikën”

Disa ditë më parë është zhvilluar një takim mes përfaqësuesve të Ambasadës Amerikane dhe anëtarëve të KQZ, në mjediset e kësaj ambasade. Sipas burimeve për gazetën Dita, tema e bisedës ka qenë më së shumti problematika parazgjedhore në Shqipëri dhe 23 qershori. Burimet bëjnë të ditur se shqetësimi i ambasadorit lidhje më së shumti me shmangien e situatave të prekjes së rezultatit, duke futur në lojë shtigje dhe dredha ligjore të lodhshme për të cilat ambasadori ka përdorur termin: “torturuese për logjikën”. Duket se ka pasur dhe një shprehje të qartë se ambasada dëshiron të shmangen situata si ajo e zgjedhjes së Kryetarit të Bashkisë Tiranë ku rezultati u përmbys duke futur në lojë një “spirale ligjore” torturuese. Ndërsa, pjesëmarrësve u është përmendur edhe rasti i fitores “ligjore” të Lukashenkos, në kushtet e institucioneve të kapura.

The original letter included actual names that have been omitted here for reasons of confidentiality. There is another part to this story concerning human trafficking that is yet to be revealed. It is my understanding that in order to qualify for employment in the Embassy these individuals were required to complete Department of State form OMB NO. 1405-0029. Section 35 of this form asks the question: Are you now, or have you ever been, a member of the Communist Party or any communist or fascist organization?</p><p>It is also my understanding that the individuals listed below may have been members of Albania&rsquo;s communist party and may have answered &ldquo;no&rdquo; in section 35 of the above described form. If this is true, then these individuals made material misrepresentations on an employment application with an agency of the U.S. government and if so, I assume this constitutes grounds for termination. In that position Hasbiu was also head of Albania&rsquo;s dreaded sigurimi secret police operation that acted as the intelligence and enforcement arm for Hoxha&rsquo;s brutal regime. As is well known, most, if not all, of the people who worked under Hasbiu were considered &ldquo;sigurimi&rdquo; and served as the nucleus of the intelligence apparatus for Albania&rsquo;s communist party. What is disturbing about this situation is that if this is information is true, it is possible members of the former communist government may have embedded spies in the U.S. Embassy. This should be of major concern because it could mean that individuals who maintain close links to the host government of Albania (Prime Minister Sali Berisha was a member of the communist party) are serving as an intelligence network within your Embassy. Furthermore, this could also explain persistent reports that former Prime Minister Fatos Nano had sources of intelligence within the Embassy because of the fact he was a key member of the former communist regime and he maintained closed ties with &ldquo;ex-sigurimi&rdquo;.</p><p>As a citizen of the United States of America, I demand that you investigate this matter and determine if any of the information contained in this correspondence has any basis in fact.
